
Sustainability---It's a verb, not a noun ! Sustainability encompasses the entire business, not just its disposition to the environment. This is why, first and foremost, Sustainability is a business stance, not an uncoordinated go-green dance; it's set of conscious actions, not situational reactions. It's an inculcation of a way of thinking versus an initiative per se. Sustainability must include all the elements: air, water, land, energy, humans, and animals. Each company interacts with these elements in its own way. The question is how to be economically viable while minimizing or eliminating the deleterious consequences of doing business.
